Yes, the patch causes Motif to use the same thumb positio&size as
is used by Xaw3d and the native scrollbar.  The only snag is that
the thumb is temporarily forced to zero-length while dragging.
It looks a bit unclean but featurewise, it's pretty much "perfect"
and the implementation is very simple with no ugly hack as
we currently have for Xaw3d.
