GNU Emacs 21.3.50.3  (powerpc-apple-darwin7.2.0) of 2004-03-09 on
leclerc-1-81-56-32-165.fbx.proxad.net

(display-mm-height) ; => 25 on my iMac 17"
(display-pixel-height) ; => 900
(face-attribute 'default :height) ; 135

I will suspect display-mm-height without doubt :)

Well, a display-mm-height of 25 (which is pretty much exactly one
inch) makes for an impressive wrist watch. However, it makes
preview-latex seriously overestimate the number of pixels the default
font occupies...

Any idea from the Carbonizers?
