I was telling a friend to watch out for the performance issue
with semantic that was tracked down on this list sometime during
September. I remember that there was a semantic patch to apply,
and that the problem description to appear in etc/Problems.
I went looking in etc/problems, but could not find the problem
and its fix listed there -- could someone with editting powers
check the problem description in to that file?
Description:
When using emacs-22, running the last released version of
semantic (this package is used by JDEE among others)
causes emacs to consume 100% CPU when Emacs is idle. There is a
patch available from the Semantic list.
