Hmm. Is c:\my\foo.bar a Posix file name?
I use GnuWin32 ports, which are native Windows executables that use Windows runtime libraries.
I use some GnuWin32 tools. They give me more trouble that the MSYS/MinGW tools (make conflicts with the shell, patch crashing on not-well-formed patches, etc.). /L/e/k/t/u
