In c-mode, when you have a page-break (^L) in column 0, and you hit TAB (c-indent-command) while having point at column 0, the page-break gets eaten. Is this a bug or a feature?
I found that ^L is a member of white space characters. Namely, `skip-syntax-forward' will treat it as a white space. This does not answer whether it is a bug, but it answers why the ^L is eaten.
