No actually that's a bad idea; while a branch is separate, it makes
things _much_ easier if separate ChangeLog files are used.

Following the usual conventions would suggest using ChangeLog files
named "ChangeLog.multi-tty" (in the same directories where the normal
ChangeLog files are).

[The historical changelog entries should also eventually be placed into
the ChangeLog.multi-tty files, but for now it seems a good idea if
people would start using them for new entries.]
