You need to use emacs.exe as the IMAGENAME, otherwise it will not
(Btw, I think this command is present on XP Home Edition as well.)

Apparently not. I have one of each. Works on XP Pro. Not on XP Home.

Though while doing things like this I find it more convenient to just do

  tasklist | findstr emacs >> memory-leak.tmp
