On the 1d12b flat, for example:

    Char: 𝄫 (119083, #o350453, #x1d12b, file ...) point=239 of 378 (63%) 
column=13

[where the double flat (bb) shows in my mailer the line above, Emacs 
shows an empty placeholder box]
