bzr version is 2.2.1.

Please show the contents of your ~/.bazaar/bazaar.conf.  It should
state your email.  Here's what I have (indentation added by me):

   [DEFAULT]
   email = Eli Zaretskii<address@hidden>

Replace # with @:

[DEFAULT]
email = Jan D. <jan.h.d#swipnet.se>

        Jan D.
