I fixed the script to get the latest org-*.tar:

pkgname=`/usr/bin/curl http://orgmode.org/pkg/daily/|/usr/bin/perl -ne 'push 
@f, $1 if m/(org-\d{8}\.tar)/; END { @f = sort @f; print "$f[-1]\n"}'`

If this is not a good way to get the latest, let me know.  Seems to work
reliably for me.
