As far as I remember, the idea/rationale was to merge a more complete
version once Cedet had moved to Bazaar.
I don't see that I can do anything to speed up _that_ process (which
likely has not even started). It does not seem like a one-time merge of
Cedet in its current state and version control system would make people
happy or things easier for them.
