Hi,
it would be nice if one could tell copy-file to actually copy only newer
files, i.e., something like this:
(and (file-newer-than-file-p
from (if (file-directory-p to)
(expand-file-name (file-name-base from) to)
to))
(copy-file from to t))
I think it could be controlled by the 4th argument KEEP-TIME (it appears
that people who want to preserve time would probably want to avoid
copying older files over newer ones) or by a new argument.
