gtk3, emacs 24 and gnome shell

Now I can't test it again because I removed it a couple of weeks ago,
but I thought only now that it's good to notify it.

Using gnome3 with the gnome shell on archLinux and a self-compiled version
of emacs 24 compiled against gtk3, pressing Ctrl-z on the emacs makes it unusable.

ctrl-g or any other combination I tried failed, and only a kill -9 solved it.

Anyone else experienced something similar?
