User-agent: Gnus/5.13 (Gnus v5.13) Emacs/24.2 (berkeley-unix)

The current emacs HEAD, corresponding to this commit:

    Author: Thierry Volpiatto <address@hidden>
    Date:   Mon Mar 11 14:30:49 2013 -0400

        * lisp/net/net-utils.el (net-utils-remove-ctrl-m-filter):
        Use with-current-buffer and don't move point.
        (net-utils-run-simple): Remove useless code.
        (net-utils-remove-ctl-m): Remove unused custom.

is failing to build on OSX, ending with:

    Loading loadup.el (source)...
    Using load-path (/Users/merlyn/MIRROR/emacs-GIT/lisp
    Loading emacs-lisp/byte-run (source)...
    Symbol's function definition is void: \`
    make[1]: *** [bootstrap-emacs] Error 1
    make: *** [src] Error 2

Is this a known problem, or would someone like me to bisect with my last
known good version, which appears to be:

    Author: Dmitry Gutov <address@hidden>
    Date:   Thu Mar 7 20:08:33 2013 +0400

        * lisp/progmodes/js.el (js--multi-line-declaration-indentation):
        from js2-mode (https://github.com/mooz/js2-mode/issues/89).

Please let me know if you need more info.
