And the fork is happening because it is easier to port bzr to py3 than
to port launchpad to git. To quote the author of that fork in the
Google Plus discussion linked from that post:

| If launchpad start to support git bzr will be either totally obsolete
| or totally replaced by bzr-with-native-git support. In either case,
| now the problem is python2 is getting deprecated and I still rely on
| bzr at work.
