Won't make a difference.  The same problems discussed here would show up
if syntax-ppss didn't use a cache (some other problems wouldn't,
admittedly, such as those linked to using syntax-ppss from within
with-syntax-table).

Please please pretty please.  Try to understand syntax-ppss before
commenting on it.
