Thank you. So what would be the practical reason why a developer would prefer:

(let ((name "JC"))
 (prin1 "My name ")
 (princ " is ")
 (princ name)
 (princ ".\n\n"))


(message "My name is %s.\n\n" "JC")

when standard-input is not set to anything special?

(I'm almost copying the above code verbatim from a package in emacs.)
