mouse-2 pastes text from selection and a context menu would not change
It will on two-button mice.

Under GNU/Linux at least, all the two-button mouse I saw gave me
`mouse-1` and `mouse-3` (and to get the effect of `mouse-2` I needed to
use some convention like pressing both buttons at the same time, which
is frustratingly difficult to do reliably).

In my mouse (a pretty standard logitech) mouse-2 is pressing (not
rolling) the wheel down. This does not work for you?
