Perhaps not ubiquitous.

I thought it worked in 'less', but apparently misremembered. Neigher backspace nor delete do anything in 'less' either, so it's probably not the best comparison.

Works in Firefox and Thunderbird, though.

But PgUp/PgDown work in less too, so supporting them should be higher priority.
