This seems to be about byte-compilation?

This is about trampolines indeed, and I believe we will have a
solution VSN.

P.S. I wish such problems didn't have to wait since August before they
are communicated to us.  If we were told back then about the problem,
we could have it solved in Emacs 28.2...
