Yes and no. Looking for something customize-option’able I searched in the
“Emacs” info node first, not in the “Elisp” node.

Yes, the manual was helpful in the end. A link from the doc string of
frame-title-format to icon-title-format would have been nice because I had
an ancient (setq frame-title-format "Emacs: %b") in my ~/.emacs, so that’s
what I checked first.
