Does Emacs generate a smaller-size Japanese dictionary? no
I just noticed this in configure:
checking whether MB_CUR_MAX is correct... ./configure: line 33322: test: !=:
unary operator expected
My MSYS2 installation is uptodate and her GCC is 13.1.0.
