I agree completely. When I have to deal with gitlab/github issues (which
can be done partially by email), I have the feeling of a huge step
backwards.

Maybe if there were a sophisticated emacs interface for these
gitlab/github-issus, things might be different but right now, I find it
too restricted and to clumsy to use.
