Anecdatally, I finally got around to building it on my wacky linux
system, then pretty much immediately shifted to the pretest as my
daily driver, and haven't been back yet. Related to the recent mention
of branches, I suspect that a "call to test out" would be
comparatively quite effective, at least based on the example of
native-comp.
