[Orgmode] problem with LaTeX exporter

Sorry, I forgot some needed details in my last:

Emacs version 22.0.91.1 on ubuntu. Org-mode 5.06.

(I've just seen the 5.06b announcement. I will try that and see if it 
makes a difference. I will post only if it does.)
