[Orgmode] Turn on "Hyperlinks > Literal Links "

Is there a way to set “Hyperlinks > literal links” on by default?

 

I found the elisp that works w/in an org buffer, but this fails if I put it in .emacs.

 

; turn on literal links

  (org-remove-from-invisibility-spec '(org-link))

  (org-restart-font-lock)

)
