You can get sunrise and sunset by doing something like in an Agenda file:

* Weather.

Lat N 51 57.931
Long W 03 33.191

#+CATEGORY: Day/Year
&%%(diary-day-of-year)
#+CATEGORY: Weather

%%(diary-sunrise)
%%(diary-sunset)
