Editing begin_verse using edit special

Hi,

I use #+begin_verse

For certain blocks in my org files 

Is there a way to allow C-c ‘ to edit this block in fundamental mode?

I always get an error that there is ‘no special evironment to edit here’ when trying to do C-c ‘ on a verse block
