Dired not handling filenames with a backslash

Hello,

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

On Bash:
$ mkdir /tmp/tmp
$ cd !$
$ touch 'f\f'
$ LC_ALL=C emacs -q --no-site-file -nw

Then:
C-x C-f . RET
D
yes RET

The message "(file-error Removing old name no such file or directory
/tmp/tmp/f)" is displayed on the Minibuffer, and the file isn't
deleted.
