This happens: (1) emacs -q -nw .emacs (for example) (2) move cursor to some other position than top left (3) use electric-buffer-list to switch to *scratch* and then back (4) cursor is now positioned at the top left position(sorry about using the wrong terms for position, etc, I am a _very new_ emacs developer wanna-be, and am not familiar with the correct terms yet)
