Sorry, the above was my misunderstanding. What Emacs got in
the above case was the same as this case:
> (3-1) paste from galeon to multi-gnome-terminal
> fail (got different cyrillic chars)
And, I found that encoding the result by koi8-r and decoding
it by iso-8859-5, I got the correct cyrillic chars. This
also suggests that there's something wrong with galeon.
