I'm still confused -- your new patch deletes the japanese-jisx0208
puncation characters from the first part of the regexp, and adds them
back at the end, but it also deletes the chinese-gb2312 puncation
characters and doesn't add them anywhere; the chinese-big5-1 and
chinese-cns11643-1 puncation characters are left where they were.

Shouldn't all 4 sets of chinese/japanese puncuation characters be
treated the same way, removed from the first part of the regexp, and
added at the end?  For instance, something like the following:
