[BUGS] Interactions between mouse-autoselect-window and mouse-avoidance-

Subject: [BUGS] Interactions between mouse-autoselect-window and mouse-avoidance-mode

Here's bug #1:

- set mouse-avoidance-mode to jump
- turn on mouse-autoselect-window
- split the frame in two
- type in one of the windows close to the window border
- put mouse pointer in the way of your cursor

- in about 50% probability, the mouse pointer will jump to the
other window, causing the input focus to move, which is bad.

Expected behavior:
- mouse-avoidance should try to keep the mouse pointer within
the same window to preserve focus

Reproducible: yes

Here's bug #2:

- set mouse-avoidance-mode to banish
- split the window
- bring mouse pointer to the lower window

- mouse pointer immediately jumps to the upper right corner of the
  top window, without any keypress

- mouse pointer does not move until a key press,
- mouse pointer stays in the same window to preserve the focus
  [as above]

Reproducible: yes

All this was on todays build from CVS on winxp, build using mingw 3.1.0
and msys 1.0.

BTW, in order to compile, I had to configure using cmd.exe, start make
using cmd.exe, and when that failed at building update-subdirs, continue
from there msys shell. Or something like that. It worked finally, so I
didn't care to remember all the details. ;-)

In GNU Emacs (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
 of 2004-03-12 on SIP227
configured using `configure --with-gcc (3.2)'
