    What exactly is the problem with including stdio.h in one of the
    Emacs-defined headers?  I don't see one.

Various orders of inclusion would fail on some systems.
I found an order that did not fail, and used it in *all*
files.  To vary the order is asking for trouble.

If we always step in our old footprints, we wont step
on a mine.  That is reliable.  That's what we do.

It is useless to look for such a problem, and not
seeing one proves nothing, because such problems can't be seen.
They depend on the contents of system files.
It is impossible to predict what will or will not work.
It is a mistake to try.
