It looks to me that most of the Info-.* commands are to be used
within Info.  I think it would make sense for there to be an
info-mode to use to get into the info system to begin with.

  grep-mode

Not according to apropos, though maybe that's not where I should be
looking?

C-u C-h a grep RET

find-grep-dired               M-x find-grep-dired RET
  Command: Find files in DIR containing a regexp REGEXP and start Dired on 
output.
grep                          <menu-bar> <tools> <grep>
  Command: Run grep, with user-specified args, and collect output in a buffer.
grep-compute-defaults
  Function: (not documented)
grep-default-command
  Function: (not documented)
grep-expand-command-macros
  Function: Patch grep COMMAND replacing <D>, etc.
grep-find                     M-x grep-find RET
  Command: Run grep via find, with user-specified args COMMAND-ARGS.

  Function: (not documented)
grep-to-list                  C-; l, C-t d
  Command: Take a buffer containing the usual grep results (from grope) and
grep-tree                     M-x grep-tree RET
  Command: Grep for REGEXP in FILES in directory tree rooted at DIR.
kill-grep                     M-x kill-grep RET
  Command: Kill the process made by the M-x compile or M-x grep commands.
