Emacs 21.3.50.1 (powerpc-apple-darwin7.5.0) crashes on mac os x panther

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

action that do trigger the bug: 1) i hit the mac os x menubar with the
mousepointer to choose a menu 2) i return to emacs from another mac os
x application, only to find him frozen.

precise symptons: emacs just exits. just like that. just like: whoopsm, gone.
