why is mouse-set-font reseting all face colors??? |

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
When I change the font size using shift mouse 1, ALL of the colors in my frame
change to goofy colors (purple comments, etc). Yuck.
I can't seem to find a way around this! I have searched customization options,
apropo, etc.
Is this a bug? Or a user error?
If this is "user error", then it is actually a bug in the documentation since I
am not a novice.
