Incompatibility between 0.9.4 and python-mode |

Symptoms:
I was trying to use the native python-mode in Aquamacs, then fetch the
"official" one and observed the following behaviour:
* with the standard python-mode, I can interpret a file in the python
interpreter, but the content of this file doesn't load in the global scope
(i.e. I cannot execute a method from the source file from the python prompt).
* I hence saw on the wiki that one could use the standard python-mode.el, hence
I downloaded it and followed the instructions. Few typos in the instructions
(third line should read "python-mode" and not "python_mode" as well as
"Application\ Support" and not "Application/ Support". This said, I tried
and... it fails with an error on font-lock-keyword-face
* I downloaded 0.9.1 and with the same python-mode.el installation it works...
The drawback is that 0.9.1 doesn't have many of the goodies of 0.9.4 ;-( and
0.9.3 has disappeared from sourceforge
In GNU Emacs 22.0.50.1 (powerpc-apple-darwin7.9.0)
of 2005-05-03 on madonna - Aquamacs Distribution 0.9.1
Distributor `Apple Computers', version 10.4.1
configured using `configure '--without-x' '--prefix=/usr/local''
