I added a diary entry after previously adding an appointment. I then
examined the value of appt-time-msg-list and noticed that the new
appointment (which had an associated time) was not in the list - shouldn't
this be updated when the diary is changed (though I don't have diary-hook
set). I then - looking at the documentation for appt-time-msg-list - tried
calling appt-check but it is not interactive - the various mentions of
appt-check in the doc strings in appt.el suggests it should be user
callable? (e.g that for appt-time-msg-list and at around line 50 in the
file header)
I ran appt-check in the *scratch* buffer which then updated
appt-time-msg-list correctly
If emacs crashed, and you have the emacs process in the gdb debugger,
please include the output from the following gdb commands:
`bt full' and `xbacktrace'.
If you would like to further debug the crash, please read the file
/develop/emacs/etc/DEBUG for instructions.
