Symptoms:
I do not know the rules according to which functions and commands
are selected for discussion in the elisp manual. I suggest that the
function replace-regexp-in-string should be mentioned in the elisp
manual, too. I find this function extremly helpful.
In GNU Emacs 22.0.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
of 2005-06-04 on tfkp07
configured using `configure '--prefix=/nfs/tfkp07/winkler/emacs/NEW'
'--with-gcc' '--with-pop' '--with-x' '--with-x-toolkit=athena'
'--x-libraries=/usr/X11R6/lib' '--x-includes=/usr/X11R6/include''
