flyspell breaks marking with shift-arrow in cua-mode

When cua-mode is on, one can mark a region using shift-arrow, and the  
region gets highlighted.

As soon as flyspell-mode is on, this mode of setting the region is  
broken: Nothing is marked, expect when you do shift-arrow-down/up and  
mark more than one whole line (!!).

This is a new bug which didn't occur about a month ago.

I tried reverting flyspell.el to version 1.74 and cua-mode to 1.61 -  
no luck so far.


Reported by Aquamacs users, I confirmed this with a recent  
(Wednesday) near-CVS Emacs.
