some recent change broke mouse wheel support in the Carbon port.
I get a lot of "[double|triple]wheel-{up|down} undefined" messages.

this happens with trackpad two-finger scrolling and with an external mouse.

potentially useful additional information:

When I do M-x mouse-wheel-mode, I get the following error:

Lisp error: (wrong-type-argument sequencep shift)
  append(shift (mouse-5))
#[(amt) "¬√:Ö @ C\"!á" [amt up vector append] 4]((shift . 1.5)) mapcar(#[(amt) "¬√:Ö @ C\"!á" [amt up vector append] 4] (1 (shift . 1.5) (control . 0.01)))
  mouse-wheel-mode(toggle)
  call-interactively(mouse-wheel-mode)
  execute-extended-command(nil)
