You have to wade through pages of nodes of sophisticated explanation
of help esoterics before you finally get to the simple node that
explains how to use help mode. Seems backwards - if you got that far,
you don't need that node.
In GNU Emacs 22.0.50.1 (i386-msvc-nt5.1.2600)
of 2006-07-19 on BOS-CTHEWLAP2
