In English you use the regexp "[']" to match any "'" embedded in a word
like "don't". In Polish "." would match _any_ character embedded in a
word. Simply noticed by analogy.
Since I don't know Polish I can't tell whether that's a bug. Also note
that this is Ispell related. Aspell rolls its own special characters.
Hence it might be difficult to find someone to test this case.
