It was the trunk (tough not fully up-to-date) as written in my
original mail (or isn't 22.1.50.n unique to the trunk?):

Hopefully the installed patch by YAMAMOTO Mitsuharu will fix the
problem.  (BTW, I lost the crashed gdb session due to a reboot so I
cannot provide further info from the crashed session.)
