Ah, seems we lack some proper documentation about seek. To make mplayer
know seek, you should use mplayer in -slave mode, i.e.,

(setq emms-player-mplayer-parameters
      (append emms-player-mplayer-parameters '("-slave")))

I've sent a patch to make mplayer's slave mode enabled by default, so if
you grab a latest checkout, you don't have to set this.

This requires aren't necessary. (require 'emms-setup) is enough.

Also, could remove this, which is already enabled in `emms-all'.

You can get everything in life you want, if you will help enough other
people get what they want.
