The way that lasers transform items seems to have changed.  It used to
be that the first time a laser hit an item it would be transformed. 
Then. if the laser stopped hitting the item and then hit it again, the
object would be transformed again.  Now lasers make items continually
transform and then transform back, at seemingly random intervals.  Is
this a bug?
