Hi Paul,
This is peculiar; the eepic file you sent is missing the \xdefinecolor
lines (relative to what results when I compile the same source file).
Out of curiosity:
Have you recently updated your developer tools or OS version? If so, did
you re-install epix, and were there any compiler warning messages when the
module eepic.o was built?
What happens if you compile a figure manually with tikz or pstricks
macros? ("elaps --tikz calculus.xp" or "elaps --pst calculus.xp")
Particularly, are there color definition statements near the top of the
respective eepic files?
