I don't know what Lattice Boltzmann offers more than Langevin dynamics?

Simply said, both Langevin dynamics and Lattice Boltzmann simulate a surrounding solvent. However, Langevin dynamics completely removes any hydrodynamic interactions mediated by the solvent, while Lattice Boltzmann models these interactions. That is only important when studying dynamic quantities.

However, Lattice Boltzmann is far from being a black box algorithm. If you need to ask questions like above, please don't use it.
