in gzigzag clones were yellow (and connected on d.clone), so you could at
least distinguish which were in multiple similar positions (though e.g.
the A-(y)-B-(x)-A structure does not require cloning, and actually does
not show multiple As but just both the connections))

in gzz -> fenfire, tuomasl and jvk especially have worked on identifyable
unique background textures for documents (nodes). this is not published
yet so i hesitated and eventually did not mention it in the broader lists
but guess it's ok here. of course the code and manuscripts etc. are in the
cvs so it's no secret, just not something to be crying out too loud yet..

yes i really liked the plumb thesaurus, probably exactly for that reason.
